Mounia Aram is the founder and CEO of the Mounia Aram Company, where she works across production, distribution, consulting, mentoring, and international partnerships in animation. With more than 20 years in the industry, she is known for connecting African animation talent and stories with the global market.
Her wider industry roles include serving as Africa Council Chair for the Geena Davis Institute, sitting on the Advisory Board of MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, and being a board member of the Diversify TV Awards. She has also served as an International Emmy Awards juror and is a regular moderator and speaker at international industry events.
At SACC, Aram brings a strong international perspective to conversations on production, financing, emerging markets, AI, and the future of animation across Africa, the Arab world, and beyond.
