Jihane Joypaul
Stop-Motion Director
Jihane Joypaul is a stop-motion director whose work spans directing, production, editing, and animation. Based in Morocco, she creates films that explore human relationships, cultural identity, and the emotional worlds behind everyday life.
She is currently directing Harun & Mamun, a stop-motion short produced by Artcoustic Studio and supported by international animation programmes and residencies including FICAM, MIFA Campus Talents, and NEF Animation. She is also developing her first feature film, La Maison des Anges, while teaching and contributing to the growth of Morocco’s animation industry.
At SACC, Joypaul will share insights in From Short to Series / Feature - Making the Leap, drawing on her experience developing short and long-form projects in stop-motion animation.
