Ferdy Adimefe is the CEO and founder of Magic Carpet Studios, an African animation, gaming, and digital storytelling studio known for bringing authentic African narratives to global audiences. Under his leadership, the studio has collaborated with brands including Cartoon Network, Triggerfish, and Microsoft Xbox, helping expand the reach and recognition of African animation worldwide.
Adimefe’s work sits at the intersection of storytelling, creative production, and industry building. Through Magic Carpet Studios, he has contributed to the growth of Africa’s animation sector while earning international recognition for excellence in storytelling and innovation.
At SACC, Adimefe will share insights from building animated projects in emerging markets and making the leap from short-form work to series and feature development, with a focus on new opportunities across Africa and the Arab world.
