Betelhem Sileshi is Co-Founder and CEO of G Media Studios PLC, an Ethiopian creative agency working across storytelling, animation, digital media, branding, and creative production. She has built her career at the intersection of creativity, communications, business development, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on bringing ideas to life through visual storytelling.
At G Media Studios, Sileshi has helped lead the studio’s move into animation, resulting in internationally festival-nominated work including Keffa the Curious Goat, now in development as a series, and Kuku, a children’s series for ages 1–5. Her work reflects a growing animation practice rooted in original stories and audience-focused creative development.
At SACC, Sileshi brings the perspective of a studio leader shaping new opportunities in African animation. In “Women Leading the Narrative Shift,” she will share insights on storytelling, creative production, and creating space for more women to lead and thrive in the industry.
