Abdulrahman Khedr
Co-Founder — giraffics studio
Abdulrahman Khedr is Co-Founder of giraffics studio and a media entrepreneur working across animation and film. He has spent more than 15 years building studios and producing animated work for regional and international audiences, with collaborations including Disney’s Kizazi Moto and TED-Ed. His work with giraffics has also earned international recognition, including an Annecy Jury Award.
Previously, Khedr founded Axeer Studio, which he led for a decade, producing a feature film, short films, music videos, and socially driven campaigns across the Arab world. At giraffics, he has helped grow the studio’s slate of commercials, short films, and original IP rooted in the region and designed for wider audiences.
At SACC, Khedr will speak in “The IP Struggle and Building Regional Models,” sharing insights on developing original IP and building sustainable animation models in the Arab world.
